Children’s Day Celebration

Children's Day Celebration SV High Global School, Arumbakkam, celebrated Children's Day on Nov.14 in its premises. November 14 is celebrated as Children's Day in India to mark the birth anniversary of the nation first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru as a tribute to his contribution towards the development of the nation and his fondness for children. Nehru was a strong believer of instilling rich moral virtues in children. It is celebrated with great fervour and enthusiasm across the country. The day was planned to make it memorable for all the students. A special assembly was conducted and the teachers planned some dances and skit to display the role reversal. The surprise element was the skit that depicted a day in school, wherein teachers enacted the students. It is important to remember that the children are the building blocks of the nation and contribute towards the greater benefit of the society.
