Inter School Science Quiz competition The Pupil Saveetha Eco School, Thiruverkadu conducted Inter School Live Science Quiz competition recently. Totally 210 teams participated in this contest. The stage was ablaze with intellectual fervor as 600 students from 25 schools across Chennai gathered at The Pupil Saveetha Eco School. This event was hosted by the renowned quiz master Berty Ashely. A written round featuring 30 challenging questions, the event eventually spotlighted eight finalists. These finalists engaged in a series of demanding rounds that put their scientific prowess and quick thinking to test. The grand finale witnessed the crowning of triumphant teams, seizing prizes totaling Rs.50,000. The students from B.V. Bhavan’s Rajaji Vidyashram bagged the first prize followed by PSBB Nungambakkam and KK Nagar. Dr. Saveetha (Director of The Pupil Saveetha Eco School) said, “The quiz was an attempt to spark interest in stem among the youth, especially girls. It serves as a resounding reminder of the boundless potential embedded within young scientific minds”.
