The students and staff of Velammal Vidyalaya, Karambakkam celebrated India’s 78th Independence Day with patriotic passion and enthusiasm. Flag hoisting, dance performances, music, and a speech chief guest, Dr. R. Saravanan, HOD of Pachaiyappa’s College in Chennai, were all part of the festivities.
Pre primary children depicted the unity in diversity using the flag colours and formed a formation with Bharatha Matha to imbibe patriotism.
