School Correspondent receives Doctorate for Social service in education

B. Sivasubramanian (67 years old, Correspondent of Sri Sarada Middle School, West Mambalam) received Honorary Doctorate for Social service in the field of education excellence from Global Human Peace University in a program held on June 28 at Bharathiya Vidya Bhavan, Mylapore.
Sivasubramian said that Sri Sarada Middle School was founded by his uncle N. Venkatraman on June 4, 1936 with 7 students (5 boys and 2 girls) and 2 teachers.
He said that it was one of the oldest school in West Mambalam and more than 4000 were studied that time.
He said that after uncle demises in the year 1980, his father N. Bhuvaragha Moorthi was correspondent of the school from 1980 to 2015. 
Sivasubramian took charge as Correspondent from 2015 onwards.
He said that legends like R. Venkatraman (Former President of India), Tamilnadu chief ministers Bakthavachalam, Rajaji and  Kamarajar were visited the school, many ministers like Kakkan and philanthropist were visited school.
Sivasubramian said that four times Kachi Maha Periyava visited the school and blessed the students, his uncle Venkataraman was devotees of Mahaperiyava.
He said that since 1965, during Kamarajar tenure, school was government aided.
Sivasubramian said till now school alumnus are visiting and supporting the school.
