Malarvanam, a monthly e-magazine celebrated its third anniversary on Nov. 27 at Stenographer’s Guild, T. Nagar.  The celebration also doubled as an awards function in order to recognise some of the musicians and experts in other fields too.
Ramki (Editor of Malarvanam, Porur) welcomed the gathering. Sneha Narayanaswami rendered the prayer song. The musical evening started with scintillating instrumental music played by the renowned Bulbuldhara musician Dr. K. G. Jawahar, who was honoured with Malarvanam Best Bulbuldhara Artist Award. K. Srinivasa Rao (State awardee for wood crafts) was honoured with Malarvanam Best Wood Craftsman award. 
A musical presentation of selective Ragaas highlighting Carnatic songs with relevant Tamil Cine songs was provided by Vocalist S. Devanathan and D. Vidhyalakshmi supported by the violinist  Kedhar Vignesh and Mridhangam played by Anurag Ramakrishnan.
The audience thoroughly enjoyed the musical evening. The function ended with Vote of Thanks proposed by T. S. Sridharan.
