Marine Division of WWF India in association with National Green Corps (NGC), organised a drawing competition on plastic free ocean for the coastal schools in Chennai at St.Mary’s school, Broadway.
Dr Joe Kizhakudan, Senior Scientist, CMFRI honoured the best students with prizes and certificates.
Earlier Fr.Thomas Correspondent inaugurated the competitions in the presence of Panneer Selvam, Associate Editor, Arivukkan and wwf officials. All 100  participants from NGC and Nature Club units of various schools took a pledge not to litter beach areas and to save marine eco system.
