Asian Youth Centre organised Inter-Collegiate Debate Competition for the celebration of United Nations Day 2022.
The Debate Competition is conducted on the topic “Could UN Prevent the Succeeding Generations From the Scourge of war Yes Or No.”
In the topic itself we can able to understand , it is  totally depending upon our country and countrymens welfare. Because this generation youths and children’s are busy with their daily activities, so that they may not be known well about what is UN? Why UN is formed? What are the powers that UN has?
So as a result of conducting this debate competition,  atleast a very few youths have came to know what is UN, Purpose and Motto of UN.
Certificates are given to the participants and cash prizes were bestowed to the winners.
S. Mahalakshmi (Final Year, B.A. English Literature, Queen Mary’s College) residing at Mugalivakkam participated and received certificate in the debate competition.
