Thakkar Bapa conducts competition on occasion of Gandhi Jayanthi

Gandhian Integrated Forum Trust and its Youth wing –Youth forum for Gandhian Studies in association with Khadi Gramodyog Bhavan, Thakkar Bapa Vidyalaya Samithi, Tamil Nadu Harijan Sevak Sangh, Akhil Bharat Rachanatmak Samaj and Maruthi  Agency, have been conducting competitions for more than three decades on the occasion of the Birth Day of Acharya Vinoba Bhave(Sept. 11), Mahatma Gandhi (Oct. 2) and Didi Nirmala Deshpande (Oct. 17) aiming to bring out the hidden, creative talents from the youth and students. Individual Prizes will be given for the best three participants from each category and Overall Rolling Shield for the Best Institution. Details of Tamil Nadu State Level Competitions: 
English essay two page of A4 sheet one side in each page in the topic of “On decisions taken when you are angry in your life/you come across and it’s impact “with 5 lines conclusion. Tamil Poetry in 12 lines on Vazhikaati (வழிகாட்டி). 
Each college can send Three Best Essays and three poems with a self declaration that Essay/ Poem is the participants own and not copied, with a seperate sheet consisting Name of the participant, college,class, personal contact number, mobile number and e-mail Id on or before Sept. 25, 2022 to  P.Maruthi, Thakkar Bapa Vidyalaya, 58,Venkatanarayana Road, T.Nagar,Chennai-600017. Please avoid electronic submissions. Usually prizes are distributed by Hon’ble Governor of Tamil Nadu during Gandhi Jayanthi (2nd October,2022). Participants should report 30 minutes before the commencement of competition.
Chennai district level  competitions for college students: Oratorical competition in Tamil on Sept. 27 at 10am on சமுதாயத்தில் தனிநபரின் தாக்கம். The time limit of the speech is 3 minutes to 5 minutes.

Group Songs competition in Tamil on Sept. 27 at 2pm on Uniting hearts (Idayangalai Ondrinaippome). In each group minimum 3 to 6 participants only are allowed. The time limit is 5 to 8 minutes.
