Thuvakkam releases ‘75 days of change’ calendar
Thuvakkam is a Non-Government Organization established in 2014 with the goal of creating a better society for all. Thuvakkam’s ‘75 days of change’ calendar was released by Honorable Minister Thiru. Siva. V. Meyyanathan(Department of Environment and Climate Change, Government of Tamil Nadu) on August 22 at the Secretariat. The calendar was released in the presence of Krishna Kumar Suresh (CEO & Founder of Thuvakkam), Syed Sirajudeen(Director of Operations Thuvakkam) and Parthiban Munusamy(Director of Programs & Volunteering Thuvakkam).
Thuvakkam, in the view of our nation celebrating 75 years of independence, has initiated a 75 days of continuous volunteering program. The campaign begins on August 26, 2022 and ends on November 13, 2022, involving volunteers in various activities which are planned in more than 30 locations in and around Chennai. Various educational institutions including Stella Maris, M.O.P. Vaishnav College for Women, Chevalier T. Thomas Elizabeth College for Women, other colleges and schools will be involved in volunteering. Volunteers engaging activities including plantation drive, maintenance drive, book reading sessions, teaching sessions in government school, art and painting activities and much more are scheduled, having both in-person and virtual activities.

The initiative has a goal of non-breaking volunteering for 75 continuous days, to enable common people to be involved in activities impacting the society for the better.
