Sri Sudharshana Educational and Charitable Trust (SSECT), established to promote the cause of National Skill Development and education has set up skill development institutions inTamil Nadu and has been providing vocational training to socio-economically backwardsegments of the youth in Tamil Nadu since 2017.
The Trust operates two Community Colleges(Mugalivakkam and Manavasi)  in the name of Sri Sudharsana Community College (SSCC) that offers One Year Vocational Diploma Courses of the Tamil Nadu Open University (TNOU). The courses are Automotive Service Technician, Airconditioning and Refrigeration Service Technician, Garment Making and Fashion Design and Hospital General Duty Assistant. These are one year courses that include practical training and the Certificates are awarded by the TNOU.
SSECT launched new facilities for the two new courses of Air conditioning and Refrigeration and General Hospital Duty Assistant on March 16.
Rtn J. Sridhar (District Governor, International District 3232) was the chief guest and inaugurated the new facilities at Sri Sudharsana Community College, Mugalivakkam.
SSECT has trained and placed more than 100 students andthey are successfully employed or have started their own micro enterprise. The SSCET has excellent Advisors and a Governing Council comprising reputed professionals, leaders andexperts who guide the SSECT in all its activities and plans.
