Velammal Main School, Mogappair Campus hosted an awareness session on Healthy living with Ayurveda for the teaching faculty by the Chief Guest Dr. P A Sudhir, HOD, Dept. Of Shalakyatantram, Sri Jayendra Saraswathi Ayurveda College on March 19 in CNR Hall of Excellence.
The resource person addressed on Ayurveda  stating it to be the  knowledge of life. It is a precise combination of science and the art of healthy living. It is popular for its extensive natural healing ways and therapies that work on illnesses and improves the general wellness of the human body and mind. The  interactive session was the key highlight wherein  the teachers got an opportunity to clarify their health queries. An incredibly apt mime  and folk dance  to the theme was portrayed by Vel’s Natyalaya students.
