On the occasion of World Service Day (Oct.8), Lions Clubs International  District 3241F had conducted various service projects, including medical camps, tree plantation, hunger relief and aids distribution to deprived and poor at 15 places in various parts of the Chennai city. 
In the Mega Medical Camp and Eye Screening Camp held at K. K. Nagar Sivan park, the Lions District Governor Uma AnilKumar inaugurated the camp and provided free glasses to the beneficiaries after eye testing done. The Lions International theme for the year 2026 is “Rooted in Service”. 
Second Vice District Governor Mohammed, District Cabinet Secretary Udayakumar, Cabinet Treasurer Sivakumar, District Chairperson for the welfare of Persons with Disabilities K. Gopinath and many others participated in the event.
