Saveetha Hospitality Institute – Food & Tourism (SHIFT), SIMATS, Thandalam, celebrated Onam with traditional and fun-filled activities, including Pookkolam, Musical Chairs, and Lemon-and-Spoon Races on August 28 in its premises.
The celebration brought together 26 students and 6 faculty members, encouraging active participation, teamwork, friendship, and cultural appreciation. The programme provided an opportunity for students and faculty to celebrate the spirit of Onam together.
The event promoted traditional heritage, unity, togetherness, and community spirit among the SHIFT students and faculty, creating a joyful and memorable Onam celebration.
