On behalf of Lions Clubs International, District 3241F, inauguration of the monthly free distribution of Sanitary “Pink Kits”, an initiative taken aiming to promote menstrual hygiene and healthy living among women, held at  Tamil Nadu Housing Board Residential Complex,K.K. Nagar. Along with the distribution of Pink Kits to underprivileged young women and mothers, awareness sessions on Breast Cancer and Cervical Cancer was also given in the event. The event was inaugurated by the chief guest, The Lions District Governor Lion Uma Anilkumar.  She distributed the Pink Kits to the beneficiaries and delivered presidential address.

Zone Chairpersons Shamily, Lakshmi Narayani, District Office bearers Aishwarya, Vijay Anand, Balakrishnan, Ramesh, Ilamaran, Social Worker Shanthi Chittibabu of Kalpavriksham Solving Cancer Crisis organization and many others participated and graced the occasion.

The Program Organizers said that, the needy women who register their names with Lions Clubs International will be provided Pink Kits free of cost every month. Through this initiative, we aim to create a future for women and mothers free from Cervical Cancer and Breast Cancer.
