Equitas Development Initiatives Trust (Anna Salai) has taken an another initiative step of Rehabilitating Pavement Dwellers. They distributed scholarships to 204 students and handed over cheques to 13 students in person on Feb 23 at Equitas Small Finance Bank, Anna Salai.  Education plays a major role in Eradicating poverty, it feels very happy and touching to be part of such initiatives, a press release said. 
Sponsors were Saraswathy Educational and Cultural Charitable Trust and L&T Public Charitable Trust.
Bro. A. Thomas (Principal, ST. Michael’s Academy) was the chief guest. The special address was given by L. Vijayalakshmi (Head Corporate Center, L&T Smart World and Communication), Priya Rajkumar (Secretary, Saraswathi Educational Cultural and Charitable Trust), P.N. Vasudevan (Managing Director, Equitas Small Finance Bank) and John Alex (ED & CEO, Equitas Holdings Ltd).
