On behalf of the Surya School of Music, music and drawing competitions and stage performance event marking the 4^th Nova World Record was held on August 2 at Sir P.T. Thyagaraya Hall, T. Nagar. V.G. Yuvalakshmi (residing in K.K. Nagar) has won the “Nova World Record Title” in singing and drawing. The Nova World Record title certificate along with medal and award was presented to her by Philanthropist Dr. Saisankara Panchapakesan, Founder Chairperson of Chennai Sai Group of Matrimonials. 
V.G. Yuvalakshmi is multitalented, Proficient in Singing both Carnatic & Hindustani traditions and in Tamil cinematic songs. She is also a Classical Bharathanattiyam Dancer and a Creative Artist in drawing and painting. She has lent her voice to prominent Tamil and English Commercial Advertisements. She has received the prestigious Samarthya Prodigy award, Kalaioli award, Kalaiselvi award, Achievers Award and many other awards too for her multitalency. Former Health Minister Dr. H.V. Hande, Founder of Surya School of Music Prabha Gurumurthy, Actress Ambika, Founder of Mylai Poompavai Charitable Trust Raji, Pioneer of Australian High Court Law and Writer Chandrika Subramanian and other dignitaries participated and graced the occasion.
