Seminar on Global Hotel Management Career and Higher Education Opportunities
Saveetha Hospitality Institute – Food & Tourism (SHIFT), Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences (SIMATS), Thandalam, organized an informative seminar on “Foreign Hotel Management Job Opportunities and Higher Education Opportunities in Hospitality“ on 30th July 30 at SHIFT Training Restaurant.
The session was delivered by Frederick Young, Director, Global Education Management, UK, who shared valuable insights into the wide range of career opportunities available for hospitality graduates in France and other European countries. He explained the growing demand for skilled hospitality professionals in luxury hotels, Michelin-star restaurants, resorts, and international hospitality organizations.
Frederick also highlighted higher education pathways abroad, internship opportunities with leading international hotel brands, visa procedures, documentation requirements, and the process of securing full-time employment overseas after completing internships. His practical guidance provided students with a clear roadmap for building successful international careers.
The interactive session witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, who raised several questions regarding overseas education, internships, career planning, and employment opportunities. He addressed each query in detail, enabling students to gain clarity and confidence about pursuing careers abroad.
