The Brahma Kumaris, in partnership with the Government of India’s Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, launched a nationwide 10 Crore Drug-Free Pledge Mega Campaign running from August 6 to August 20. Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar (Governor of Tamil Nadu), flagged off the 10 crore person Drug- Free Pledge Mega Campaign on August 5 at Bharathiar Mandapam, Lok Bhavan. This campaign is a call to make a personal commitment to stay away from substances of abuse and inspire others to choose a healthier, happier and more empowered life.
