Suyamvaram held for differently abled persons
Suyamvaram for differently abled persons was organized by the Sunstar free marriage information centre for differently abled persons on July 11 at Ramar Temple premises in Ambattur, near Dunlop.
In the suyamvaram event, over 200 differently-abled men and women from various districts of Tamil Nadu participated and introduced themselves to prospective alliances and the aim of the event was to support them in finding suitable life partners.
Social Worker and Disabled Rights Activist Dr.K.Gopinath participated in the event as guest of honour and explained about the various marriage assistance schemes of the Tamilnadu government extended to disabled, through differently abled welfare department and through welfare board for the differently abled.
The program was well organized with lunch by the chairperson of the Sunstar marriage information centre S. Ravi.
Sivasakthi Murugan (Assistant Manager of Tadhco, Chennai District), Retired Deputy Tahsildar Meenakumari, Social Activists Karuppaiyah, Raja, Tamiltamarai TV Sendhil, Advocate Sivaselvi and others participated and graced the occasion.
This Suyamvaram event for differently abled, will be held during 2nd Saturday of every month between 10am to 2pm.
