MoU with Nanyang Institute of Management at SIMATS
The MoU aims to promote global academic excellence and create valuable international opportunities for students and faculty of both institutions. The partnership will focus on several key areas, including joint training and skill development programmes, internship and placement facilitation, collaborative research and publications, guest lectures, workshops, faculty exchange programmes, and student exchange initiatives.
The MoU signing ceremony was attended by distinguished representatives from both institutions on July 1 at SIMATS, Thandalam. Representing Nanyang Institute of Management, Singapore, were Raymond Khoo, Vice President – Student Recruitment and Admissions, and Htet Htet Myo Myint, Deputy Director – Student Recruitment and Admissions. Representing SIMATS were Dr. T. Milton, Principal, Saveetha Hospitality Institute of Food & Tourism (SHIFT), and Deepak, Associate Dean, International Affairs, SIMATS, Thandalam.
Speaking on the occasion, the representatives expressed confidence that the partnership would open new avenues for academic collaboration, international exposure, and professional development for students and faculty. The MoU reflects the shared commitment of both institutions to delivering quality education with a global perspective and preparing graduates to meet the evolving demands of the international hospitality and tourism industry.
