Assistant Professor receives recognition from Bihar Legislative Assembly

Pulkit Sharma, Assistant Professor of Korean in the Department of Language, Culture & Society at SRM University, Kattankulathur, has been awarded a prestigious letter of appreciation by Dr. Prem Kumar, Speaker of Bihar Legislative Assembly. The honor recognizes his significant contributions to education, international academic engagement, Representation of India, cultural exchange, and the Celebration of India–South Korea Friendship Festival.
Through his dedicated efforts in promoting Korean language education, participating in international conferences, organizing India–South Korea Friendship Festival initiatives, and contributing scholarly articles and academic outreach activities, he has played an active role in strengthening educational and cultural ties between India and South Korea.
Speaking to Pour Times, Pulkit Sharma said that he is constantly working in line with the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Viksit Bharat initiative, with a focus on advancing education, fostering cultural collaboration, strengthening international partnerships, and enhancing India’s global academic engagement. He dedicated this recognition to Maa Agamkua, Maa Patneshwari, Mahakal, and Guru Gobind Singh Ji, while expressing gratitude for the inspiration he derives from the ideals of Loknayak Jayaprakash Narayan and the teachings of Gautama Buddha.
Reaffirming his commitment to public service through education and cultural diplomacy, Sharma stated that he will continue working to strengthen educational cooperation, promote cultural understanding, and deepen the longstanding friendship between India and the Republic of Korea, while contributing to the broader vision of a Viksit Bharat through education and international collaboration.
