Thakkar Bapa Vidyalaya , T. Nagar, In an event held on 03.07.2026 for issued appointment orders to the trainees selected in the campus interview on July 3. Dr. G. Santhanam, IAS (R), Former Secretary to the Government of Tamil Nadu, praising Thakkar Bapa Vidyalaya for its commitment to promoting Gandhian values in contemporary society, emphasized the importance of companies supporting students by providing guidance, encouraging them to work with dedication, and learning through practical experiences.
N. Kumaresan from Blue Star Ltd. highlighted the significance of artificial intelligence in the professional landscape. However, he stressed that technicians remain irreplaceable, urging students to continuously acquire new skills and improve daily to stay relevant in a rapidly evolving job market. A notable success story shared by Dominic Premkumar revealed that a former student of Thakkar Bapa Vidyalaya dedicated 32 years to Andrew Yule and Company, a prominent Indian public sector enterprise, thereby earning a respectable reputation for himself but also for the institution, reinforcing the importance of skill development and lifelong learning.
During the event, appointment orders were issued to 25 students from both Andrew Yule and Fujitec, a renowned Japanese elevator manufacturer. Thakkar Bapa Vidyalaya serves as a technical skill training centre, aiding youth who struggle academically, thereby enhancing their socio-economic status through employment opportunities.
Admissions are open now for various programs. While the wireman and air conditioning trades are filled, a few seats remain for electrician and fitter courses. Additionally, courses in carpentry, multi-skill trading, tailoring, and beautician services are available, with training supported by Blue Star Ltd.
