On behalf of Penakkal Peravai, an interactive session titled “Kadandhu Vandha Paadhai’ (The Path I Have Traversed) with former Mayor of Chennai, Saidai Duraisamy, was held at the Anna Centenary Library Complex, Kotturpuram.
Saidai Duraisamy released the updated literary work of “N.C.M.” by writer Rani Maindhan and journalist Lena Tamilvanan received the first copy. He spoke eloquently, explaining the path he had traversed in his life.
The donors, Education Philanthropist Muthukumarasamy, Auditor J. Balasubramanian, Penakkal Peravai member Indumathi and Penakkal Peravai Founder & Chairman of Indian Front Liners N.C. Mohandass, distributed a total amount of Rs.90,000 as financial assistance to beneficiaries for education, healthcare, and school development. Sundari Shankar was honoured for her Social Service in the event. The special guests Lena Tamilvanan and renowned director S.P. Muthuraman participated and graced the occasion.
Lion Dr. Aavin K. Gopinath, District Chairperson for the Welfare of Differently Abled, Lions Clubs International, Social Activist Palam Kalyanasundaram, writers Rani Maindhan and K.G. Jawahar also participated and added distinction to the event.
