The members of Rotary Club of Chennai Triumph planted about 20 tree saplings in Jeeva Nagar, G.N.Chetty Road, T.Nagar recently with the objective of promoting environmental awareness and encouraging a greener and healthier community.
The program was inaugurated by Ravi Sundaresan (Rotary District Governor, 3234) in presence of C. Muthusamy (District Chairman, Happy Shelters), Pasumai Murthy (Pasumai Amaipu), Mahalakshmi Neelakantan (Past President, Rotary Club of Chennai Triumph), Anuradha Srikanth (President-Elect) and Sathis Babu (President-Elect of the Rotary Club of Poes Garden). Several saplings were planted during the program with enthusiastic participation from Rotary members, environmental activists, walkers, joggers, and local residents.
