Awareness programme held about Digital safety

Jothi Madhar Sangam (T. Nagar) in association with Helpage India and Regional Resource Training center jointly celebrated International Women’s Day by organizing an impactful awareness programme on Digitalisation, Cyber Security and Digital Safety, association with Helpage India on March 17 in its premises.
The session was led by K. Usha Rani (Inspector of Police – Cyber Crime, Central Crime Branch, Vepery) who delivered an informative and engaging lecture supported by video presentations.  She educated the participants on various cyber threats and preventive measures, including, digital arrest scams, online trading scams, cyber stalking, morphing scams and fake loan app scams. Her session created strong awareness and left a meaningful impact on the audience, empowering them to stay safe in the digital world.
The prizes were given to active participants by Lakshmi Ragukumar (President, Jothi Madhar Sangam) in presence of Sivakumar (Helpage India). More than 80 women actively participated and benefitted from this informative session.
