Pulkit Sharma participates in Farewell High Tea Reception at Lok Bhavan
Pulkit Sharma, Assistant Professor of Korean at SRM Institute of Science and Technology and Grandson of Late Hari Shankar Sharma Former Member of the Rashtriya Karyakarini and Former Vice President of the Bharatiya Janata Party & Former Vice President of Khadi Board, Bihar was invited to a High Tea at Lok Bhavan by R. N. Ravi, Former Governor of Tamil Nadu and present Governor of West Bengal.
During the interaction, he shared details of his work in promoting the Korean language and cultural exchange under the vision of SRM University Chancellor Dr.T. R. Paarivendhar and the guidance of Dr. L. Kavitha Nair, Head of the Department of Language, Culture and Society SRMIST. He also informed the Governor that he had the honour of representing India at an international conference in South Korea, expressing pride in contributing to international academic and cultural ties.
Pulkit Sharma said that such initiatives reflect the global vision of Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India, whose leadership & dedication has strengthened India’s global presence through cultural diplomacy, educational partnerships, and people to people engagement.
He added that his work has been recognised by several dignitaries, including Nand Kishore Yadav, Former Speaker & Governor of Nagaland, through a letter of appreciation. He was also invited to the Parliament of India by the Speaker of the Lok Sabha and received appreciation from Tamilisai Soundararajan, Former Governor of Telangana & Former Justice of Jharkhand.
The Governor commended his efforts in promoting the Korean language and strengthening cultural ties between India and the Republic of Korea, and wished him continued success in his future endeavours.
