The institute of Internal Auditors India (Madras Chapter) conducted their two days annual conference on theme “Internal Audit at the Inflection Point” of on Feb.27 and 28 at Hilton Hotel, Chennai.
The program was led by S. Deepika (President of IIA, Madras Chapter and resident of T.Nagar).
The Chapter proudly conferred the Lifetime Achievement award on P. R. Loganathan (Founder Member of IIA Madras) for his decades of pioneering contribution to the Internal Audit profession.
The Chapter felicitated Sai Varalakshmi for being selected as one of the 15 Emerging Leaders – Global Cohort  2025 by The Institute of Internal Auditors, USA, and Anupama for winning the World Championship in Snooker, a proud moment for the Chapter as she is the daughter of the Chapter Secretary, Gayathri.
The program was inaugurated by D. Lakshminarayanan (Managing Director, Sundaram Home Finance), in the presence of CA Charanjot Singh Nanda (former President of ICAI) K. Vidyadaran (Conference Chairman and Past President)
S. Deepika (President, IIA Madras Chapter) said the deligates emphasized the profession’s growing responsibility in strengthening organizational trust and resilience on AI-enabled assurance, cyber risk, ESG, and CAE leadership.
