Thakkar Bapa Vidyalaya Samithi received and felicitated (on Dec.27, 2025, at Chennai) M. Karupaiah who started Padayatra (Foot March) on  Dec.2,2024 at Mahatma Gandhi Ashram, Anamalai and reached Chennai, completing 550Kms Padayatra propagating the background, history, meaning and importance Vande  Mataram  song commemorating 150^th Year.
M. Ranganathan, Managing Trustee, Mahatma Gandhi Ashram, Anamalai congratulated M. Karupaiah, who withstood all difficulties and hardships and reached the goal of concluding it at Chennai.
P. Padmanabha Naidu, Founder, Amma Vodi Deepika Charitable Trust, Chittor was a special Guest. Their Trust, he said, is not only feeding needy persons, but also conducting funerals for the orphans. He said Karupaiah during his earlier Cycle Yatra lost his wife and they also have helped. Karupaiah Ji , though lost his beloved companion, he continued his mission. He congratulated Him.
M. Karupaiah, while sharing his experience he said his devotion to the country. Though not planned, due to the cause he is getting support from all sections of the people. He said considering his constructive actions, the  Prime Minister in his Man Ki Baat mentioned his name. He advised all students and citizens to participate in all Nation Building activities.
P. Maruthi, Secretary, Thakkar Bapa Vidyalaya Samithi said  felicitation for Karupaiah, M.Ranganathan, Padmanabha Naidu will be following the right path that they are showing in serving the nation.
