Thuvakkam is hosting the Thuvakkam Volunteer Summit 2025,  Edition 2 on Dec.13 (Saturday) from 9.30am onwards at The Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University, Taramani, Chennai (Venue Partner). The annual summit, organised in celebration of Internatisonal Volunteer Day, brings together volunteers, NGOs, corporates, and educational institutions for a day of learning, collaboration, and recognition.
As an organisation built by volunteers, Thuvakkam aims to honour the spirit of service while offering new avenues for individuals interested in contributing to social development.
Volunteers attending the summit will gain exposure to diverse social initiatives, skill-building opportunities, networking with NGOs and corporates, and guidance on shaping their future volunteering journey.
The summit will also spotlight key attractions including collaboration with France Volontaires Inde who shall be taking part in sharing their experience of Global Volunteering, Deliberation with Experts in the field of Social Work, Discussion Forums on 3 different topics on discussing the scope and wayforward in Volunteering, Networking & Stall Visits, Ice Breaker session, the Launch of Thuvakkam Module 2.0, a Music Concert, and a Volunteer Recognition Ceremony. A Call to India’s Changemakers Thuvakkam invites students, individual volunteers, nonprofit leaders, and corporate teams to participate and experience a day that promises learning, networking, celebration, and new opportunities. The organisation encourages volunteers to join upcoming events and continue contributing to social good throughout 2025.
