Gayatri Japam  will be celebrated on August 10th, which is also known as Gayatri Jayanti. Goddess Gayatri, who is revered as the mother of Vedic literature, is believed to be born on this day and is observed as Gayatri Jayanti. The day is celebrated with prayers and chanting of the Gayatri mantra 1008 times. The Gayatri Mantra is a Sacred Universal prayer enriched in the Vedas.
Aum Bhur Bhuvah Svah, Tat Savitur Varenyam,  Bhargo Devasya Dheemahi, Dhiyo Yo nah Prachodayat.
Eventually, the mantra is an expression of Gratitude, to both the life-giving Sun and the Bhagavati Gayatri. Let us pray to Maa Gayatri and seek her divine blessings for a blissful life.
