Chennai Freemasons, under The Regional Grand Lodge of Southern India, enthusiastically celebrated Mother’s Day on May 18. Distinguished guests included RW Regional Grandmaster RW Bro. T.N. Manoharan and MW Bro. Captain Dr. Balram Biswakumar.
The event honoured six inspiring women leading highly acclaimed NGOs. They were recognised for their sacrifices and “never say die” spirit in caring for various inhabitants, including the speech and hearing impaired, differently-abled, juvenile children, and those in hospice care. 4 Inspiring mothers who in their individual capacity, notwithstanding their financial difficulties and emotional bottlenecks were able to raise their children wonderfully who in turn have now excelled in various fields like serving the Indian Armed Forces, successful farmers and to becoming owners of a Chain of Restaurants.
