Vehicle donated for rural teleophthalmology project

Fourrts India and Rotary club of Adyar donated a vehicle for Project Vision on Wheels, a rural teleophthalmology project of Radhatri Nethralaya, T.Nagar under the aegis of its public charitable trust, Gurupriya Vision Research Foundation recently.
The project screens babies in rural Tamilnadu and Andhra Pradesh for the blinding condition called ROP (Retinopathy of Prematurity), with more than one lakh babies screened and 4500 babies of underprivileged parents prevented from becoming blind by timely laser surgery.
Trustees of Gurupriya Vision Research Foundation Rtn.Krishnan Chari, Dr.Praveen Krishna and Dr.Vasumathy Vedantham received the vehicle keys from Fourrts India chairman AKS Rtn S.V. Veeramani.
