Significance of Ugadi

Ugadi, a significant festival in Indian culture, coincides with the arrival of spring, marks the beginning of the new year, believed to be the day when Bhagawan Brahma created the universe.
Ugadi, also known as Yugadi, is derived from the Sanskrit words “Yuga” (age) and “Adi” (beginning), signifying “the beginning of a new age”. Ugadi was celebrated on March 30 this year. A special dish prepared with a mix of ingredients, including tamarind, jiggery and mango, representing the various flavors of life. As you celebrate Ugadi, may you be filled with joy, love, and positivity, and may this new year bring you growth, prosperity, and happiness.
