On occasion of International Women’s Day, Mangalanagar Kamakshi Amman Temple women’s wing felicitated and honored women employees of sanitary workers and Postal service on March 12 at Sri Kamakshi Amman Temple, Mangalanagar. Jayashree Jayaraj, Dr.Meenakshi Balaji and Saraswathi were the chief guests of the event.

Umaranisankarlingam, Jayabalu and her team organized the event. Umaranisankarlingam conducted yoga sessions and Muthras in the program. She had explained about the advantages of yoga for women’s wellness. They gifted sarees, with pack of Andal poosu manjal kulial podi(it’s natural bathing powder), kungumam, Bangles, Srivilliputtur milk gova. They provided lunch for them. Finally, women sanitary workers felt very happy and shared their feelings emotionally.
