Aavin Women Welfare Association celebrated 23^rd year Women’s day celebration by donating aid to needy organization on March 7 at Pasumpon Devar Mandapam, T.Nagar.
The program was presided overby A. Annadurai (Managing Director, Aavin), K. Porkudi (Join Managing Director, Aavin), Rajivkumar (Director General of Police, Vigilance Aavin), S. Amudha (General Manager Administration, Aavin), Dr.T.S. Prema (Principal, St.Thomas College of Arts and Science, Koyambedu), R. Sivakami Sundari (President, Aavin Women Welfare Association).
Aid given including Rs.70,000 cheque to Vishranthi Old Age Home, Rs.84,000 worth of 10 month milk card and dresses to Gnanadharshan home for Visually challenged, Rs.15,000 cheque to Samarpana Mentally Retarded home, Rs.25,000 worth of new dresses and kitchen appliances given to Salvation Trust.
