Association meeting held to enhance clinical practice standards on Occupational Therapy

The Tamil Nadu Occupational Therapy Clinical Proprietors and Private Practitioners Welfare Association (TNOTPPA), registered under TN Societies Registration No: 369/2024, successfully conducted its first official association meeting & CME on Feb.1 at Orchid hall, Mogappair.
The speakers G. Poornima, from Vision Therapy discussed “Multidisciplinary Approach,” and Dr.P. Parthiban, who spoke on “The Vital Role of Splinting in Patient Care, Recovery, and Function.” The sessions provided valuable insights for therapists and practitioners.
The event featured the inauguration ceremony of the new office bearers who took up their responsibilities. Discussions were about the goals and future direction of the association, with all queries addressed and noted to ensure effective implementation of necessary actions.
The Association aims to promote professional welfare and enhance clinical practice standards to create a support system for occupational therapy practitioners across the state.
The meeting had the participation of more than 75 Occupational Therapists, PGs and Clinical Practitioners.
