The gathering of the administrators of the Tamil Nadu Freedom Struggle Martyrs and Descendants Trust was succeeded by a meeting at the Chief Secretariat on Jan.8. During this session, the Tamil Nadu Freedom Struggle Martyrs’ Family Development Committee engaged directly with the chief secretary, the secretary of the rural development and housing department, the secretary of the general pension department, among others, to advocate for the implementation of the new government order and to address various concerns. It is encouraging to note that they provided satisfactory responses to numerous inquiries during the meeting. Appreciation is extended to all those who contributed to this effort. The attendees of the meeting remain hopeful for timely and positive updates.
