In connection with World Disabed Day, award and aids distribution function was organized by Web News on Dec.1 at Vadapalani.
In the event, Disabled Activist and State General Secretary of Tamilnadu Udavikkaram Association for the welfare of Differently Abled( TNUAWDA). 
Ln. Dr.  Aavin K. Gopinath  has been honoured with Nambikkai Award- 2024, for the exemplary services rendered by him  to the cause of the differently abled  persons,  for more than 30 years. The award was presented to him by the cine actor and director Thambi Ramaiah.  
Essentials were also distributed to 100 differently abled persons. The programme was organized by social activist mimicry Senthil.
