Saveetha College of Nursing sets world record
Saveetha College of Nursing (Kuthambakkam) sets new world record with over 10,000 Blood Pressure readings in six hours. In an extraordinary feat of dedication and teamwork, Saveetha College of Nursing under the Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences (SIMATS) has been awarded a world record by the World Records Union, Philippines for successfully completing an astounding 10,308 blood pressure readings in just 6 hours on Nov.13.
This achievement stands as the world record for the most Blood Pressure readings taken in a single event.
The prestigious award was received by Dr. N.M Veeraiyan, Founder Chancellor of SIMATS, Pro Vice Chancellor of SIMATS Dr. Deepak Nallasamy, Dr. Vijayalakshmi R., Principal and Dr. Parimala L,Vice Principal of Saveetha College of Nursing. The record-breaking event was officially announced by Christopher T. Craft, adjudicator from the World Records Union, Philippines, this success was made possible by the combined efforts of SIMATS management, dedicated faculty, and students of Saveetha College of Nursing.
