Rotary Club of Chennai Octave conducts multi talent competition

Rotary Club of Chennai Octave (part of Rotary International Dist. 3233) conducted exclusive program for the special children on Nov. 9 at Hari Om Vidyalaya, K.K. Nagar. About 200 special children were explored thier talents in a multi talent competition.
The program was held in presence of Rtn. Devendran Damodaran ( Rotary District Governor Elect), Rtn.Malli Srinivas ( Asst. District Governor), Rtn.C.S.Balaji (President, Rotary Club of Chennai Octave), Rtn.Dr.G.Prabha (Vocational Services) and other rotarians were teamed up at the event to manage all the special children during their performances.
Balaji said that Rotary club of Chennai Octave, in its 3 years of existence, has conducted many shows to provide platform for special children to show case talent.
The special children were enthusiastically participated in competitions in all categories including Fashion Show, Dance, Writing, Drawing, Painting, Keyboard and Public Speaking.
He said that endeavor aims to build awareness and appreciation for the remarkable talents within the special needs community and support a more inclusive world. The prize distribution for the winners will be given soon.
