P.N. Kubendren (Social worker and resident of 32nd Street, Ashok Nagar) was distributed new sarees and food packets to about 500 women on Sept.27 in memory of his mother P. Nilavathy.
He also distributed 2 sewing machines and a tricycle to physically challenged person.
Kubendren is conducting awareness drug and alcohol de-addiction at various venues.
