Freedom Trust (Non-Profit Organisation, Thiruvanmiyur) conducts special camps in rural areas, town & villages for mobility and rehabilitation for PWD’s for limb fitting and enables the amputees to walk with their newly fitted limbs. The project also helps children and adults with disabilities, providing them with wheelchairs, crutches, tricyles, standing frames, auxiliary crutches, foldable walker cp chairs, calipers, special furniture and shoes.                      
Freedom Trust jointly with National Engineering College, K. R. Nagar, Kovilpatti distributed artificial limbs and mobility aids to PWD’s on Aug.31 and on Sept.1. The function was graced by Vice Chairman KR Group of Institutions & Consortium K. R. Krishnamurthy. The Rehabilitation officer from VRC Parameshwar explained about skill development for the PWD’s. Dr. Sundar was also appreciated. The camp was sponsored by Vara future LLP of Vardhman Jain and represented by Elavendan. This was part of a huge initiative to benefit persons with disability. Lawyer Suresh Prabakar State Coordinating Secretary TNUAWDA, State Deputy General Secretary TNUAWDA T. Deepak Kumar Gupta and Senthil Kumar Social Activist were also present in the event. The camp was coordinated by Sudarshan Reddy from Freedom Trust.
