Bharatiya Music & Dance Artists Federation of Tamilnadu was inaugurated by Vishwaprasanna Theertha Swamiji, Pejawara Mutt, Udupi on Sept.14 at Sri Sakthi Sangeetha Sabha. Guru Sikkil Vasathakumari was installed as Hony. President and Guru Sri Kesavaraja Balakrishnan as the President of Tamilnadu Chapter. Founder President of Karnataka Federation President Sri Sai Narayanan gave the nomination letter and key note address. In his speech, he insisted that as per our tradition and culture, dance and music should be held in temples regularly to motivate the upcoming artists. Sri Kesavaraja requested all the Gurus to register their dance school names with the TN Federation so that appropriate performance will be arranged. After the inauguration, 25 dancers from various Senior Gurus performed along with vocal, instrumental, sub junior students of Mrithangam Vidwan Dr. Ananda Krishnan wonderfully performed with their instruments.
