29 teams consisting of 6 students each participated in the event. The team composition was done based on the rules of SIH-24. Teams consisting students of same streams and teams consisting of diverse streams participated. Each team had minimum one girl student mandatorily.
25 students moved to the next round while 5 teams were kept in the waiting list.
