R. Sivakumar (resident of Thambaiah Road, West Mambalam, Social worker and Managing Director of Sri Vishnu Associates) organised a free medical camp in the memory of his mother Gomathi Ramamoorthy (late) on Sept.1 in a function held at Mahalingapuram.
Visitors at the camp were screened for various ailments, including Cataract, bone health, cervical cancer and diabetes. About 300 persons participated in the camp.
20 participants diagnosed for a free cataract surgery and they will be operated in Kumaran Eye Speciality Center, Choolaimedu. He also felicitated the doctors and volunteers on the occasion.
