In connection with World Environment Day on June 5, Vivek Kumar IFSC Assistant Mission Director, Department of Environment and climate change, Govt. of Tamil Nadu insisted everyone to take part in any of the environmental activities.
Thangaraj Chennai District national Green Corps coordinator distributed yellow cloth bags to all students in world environment day celebrations held in Alpha School, Nandanam and encouraged the students to visit nearby forest and involve in all eco club activities.
Sowmya Deputy Director administered the pledge. Also trees were planted in Chennai Corporation ITI campus in Mylapore by District environment engineer Dhinakaran and NGC coordinator Thangaraj. Health education officer Dr.Srinivasan administered the pledge to students.  ***
