National Conference on Leading Nursing through Innovations

Saveetha College of Nursing hosted a 15th National Conference on April 30 on theme Leading Nursing through Innovations at Solai Hall, Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences, Thandalam. Dr. N.M. Veerayan Founder & Chancellor of Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences, inaugurated the program and addressed the gathering with his inspiring speech followed by conference coordinators welcomed the gatherings, the guest speaker of conference were J. Ashwin Bromeo (Associate Professor, Father Muller College of Nursing, Mangalore), Dr. B. Venkatesan (Principal, GITAM Institute of Nursing GITAM Deemed to be University, Visakhapatnam), Dr.Hephzibah Dorothy Jacob, (DGM – Nursing Clinical Governance and quality,
The Madras Medical Mission, Mogappair),  J. Lydia Annie (Chief Nursing Officer, Kauvery Hospital, Alwarpet), Dr. Aparajita Phukan (Principal, Assam Oil College & School of Nursing, Assam) and Dr. M. Navaneetha (Professor, PIMS College of Nursing, Pondicherry).
The speakers delivered lectures on their respective topics, imparting valuable knowledge to the attendees on various aspects of innovations to be implemented in nursing.  
Around 500 delegate’s and professionals attended the conference from various states of India.
As part of conference the scientific paper presentation was conducted and best paper was awarded in the event.
