On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Malarvanam, the cultural digital Tamil e-magazine, conducted Women Achievers award Function on Mar.10 at Bharathiya Vidya Bhavan, Mylapore. The function started with the introduction of three Special Guests, who graced the occasion with their revered presence, namely, Dr. Shruthi Prashanth, Obstetrician & Gynecologist, Latha Saravanan, Writer and Narayani Sangamitran, Director, Vaigarai Foods Pvt. Ltd.  In all, seventeen women achievers were honored with awards, which included a Shield, Shawl and certificate from Malarvanam.   
The awardees names and description of the respective Awards are  Divya Abhishek(Malarvanam Best CA and Tax Consultant), Compcare K. Bhuvaneswari(Best Ai Researcher Award), Lakshmi Kannan(Rathna Kamalam Award, Katha & Bharathanatyam), Prof. A. Suganthi Annathaai(Tamil Chudar Award), C. Vidyalakshmi(Best Mother Award), Akila Sathanarayanan(Rathna Kamalam Award, Bharathanatyam), K. Akshaya of Happy Pique(Best Women Entrepreneur Award), M Bhagavathi (Best Star Achiever award, CA Foundation topper), Dr.G. Rajalakshmi(Best Isai Sayvai Thilagam award, Veena), Dr. R. Nithyashree(Best Medical Service Enthusiast), Rajalakshmi Prabhakar(Best Story Writer award), Vaishnavi Ramadoss (Best Sayvi Nugar Isaimani award), Thanuja Jayaram (Best reporter award), Sneha Narayanaswamy(Best interpreter  award, Korean), G. Mahatheswari(Best Young Physical Enthusiast), Gayathri Sundarakanthan(Best Women photographer award) and Radha Kalyamaran (Best Kolam Queen award).
Udayam Ram, Writer N.C. Mohandas and Poet P. V. Rajkumar addressed the audience and V. Dayalan, Kumari Amudhan, Venkat, Anand, A.V. Murali, Director Mani bharathi were also felicitated in the event.  The welcome address was presented by Malarvanam Editor, Ramki, with a support from the Master of Ceremonies, Uma Prem.  The Joint Editor of Malavanam, Seethalakshmi co-ordinated with the Special Guests and the awardees. T. S. Sridharan proposed the formal vote of thanks.
