As per the instructions by ministry of Environment Forest and climate change Govt. of India and guidelines by Department of Environment and Climate Change Govt. of Tamil Nadu, Street Play and puppet show were conducted all over the state by involving students and cultural artists.
In continuation of this awareness programs, street plays were conducted in Pondy Bazaar,T.Nagar and Tower park,Anna Nagar on the theme Sustainable Lifestyle Environment.
Thangaraj, Chennai District National Green Corps (NGC) during his inaugural address explained the roles and responsibilities of every individuals to use E- vehicles, avoid single use plastics, usages of millets, Cycling, public transport system and to follow healthy life style practices in daily life.
Also puppet shows were conducted in schools and colleges on the same titles in major areas of city.
