Thuvakkam Welfare Association (Valasaravakkam) recently partnered with Firstsource Solutions Limited, an RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group company, for conducting Creative Art. These national level art events took place in four metropolitan cities of Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Mumbai.
The schools selected for this event across each city were Government High School, Porur, Chennai, Government New Middle School, Bengaluru, MPPS Errakunta School, Hyderabad, and Chandrabhaga Vidya Mandir, Mumbai.
Through these art events, volunteers added colors and creativity to 4350+ sq ft. of school walls. More than 140 volunteers participated in the event which was split into two, as the events for Chennai, Mumbai and Hyderabad was held on January 20 and for Bengaluru on January 27. The art work was aligned with various themes, such as Stem education, environment and sustainability, empowerment, etc. The themes were also selected based on the school’s academic curriculum, to enhance their pupils’ literacy foundation, raise awareness and infuse color into their everyday environment. Employee volunteers from Firstsource were delighted to participate in the event and paint along with school students since it was the first real artwork experience for them after their own school days.
